About the organization

CICA AICC is a non-profit organization, created in September 2018, that offers services to help children and youth become aware of the identity, values and culture of people of Afro-descendant origin.

At CICA AICC, we:
● Support and build future leaders: proud, whole, without complexes and aware of the
added value of each one as an individual;
● Let us gradually destroy negative, often insidious, misconceptions
about Afro-descendant people;
● Contribute to a better knowledge of the history and diversity of
Black identity, from a perspective of integration and openness;
● Contribute to creating economically strong, united and more homogeneous communities
to meet the social challenges of our time;
● Let us allow young people to dream big, without limits; meet with
mentors;
● Let’s give young people the potential to value themselves and be respected in
the social environment by developing their assertiveness.

Your role:

Are you passionate about disseminating knowledge related to history, arts and
culture, finance, fashion, literature and African identity? If this
speaks to you, read on.
As a Partner Relations Officer, you will be part of a team
responsible for supporting the President of the organization in relations with
community partners, local, municipal, provincial or federal.

Main tasks:

Search for Partner Organizations

● Management of premises for workshops

● Building Community Relationships

● Program coordination in partnerships

● Prospecting for funding programs: sponsorship and grants

● Follow-up of deadlines for submission of applications

● Assistance in the preparation and drafting of files with
provincial, local or federal agencies

● Registration of the organization on the lists of funders

● Organization of fundraisers

● Other related tasks

The ideal candidate with the following profile:
He/She demonstrates autonomy, creativity, has a good sense of
communication, organization and has a strong interest in the cause of Black people.
Knowing how to write documents and easily establish contacts is a major asset
for this position.

As an Administrative Officer, you will be part of a team of 2/3 people responsible
for supporting the President of the organization with the relationship with
community, municipal, provincial or federal partners.

Your main responsibilities:

● Search for Partner Organizations

● Management of workshop premises

● Building Community Relationships

● Program coordination in partnerships

● Prospecting for financing programs: sponsoring and subsidies

● Follow-up on application deadlines

● Assisting in the preparation of files with provincial, local, or federal agencies

● Inclusion of the organization on donor lists

● Organization of fundraising events

● Other related tasks

We are looking for a candidate with the following:
The ideal candidate demonstrates autonomy, creativity, good communication and
organization skills and a strong interest in the Black community.
Knowing how to write documents and easily establish connections are major assets
for this position.
As we operate mostly in French, the candidate must speak French, but bilingualism
is an asset.
